| Electronic Assembler Datrend Systems Inc. designs and manufactures quality medical test instrumentation, to ISO 13485-2003 standards, for biomedical and clinical engineering professionals around the world. Additionally, we provide product development and manufacturing services on a contract basis for both medical and non-medical devices. We have an immediate opening for a well-qualified, detail-oriented Assembler to join our team of manufacturing professionals. Principal Duties: - Perform complex manufacturing and assembly operations following manufacturing procedures, assembly drawings, and bills of material. - Kit, assemble and install printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, power supplies, LCD displays, electro-mechanical assemblies, optical assemblies, valves, membrane keypads and plastic/metal parts. - Follow and comply with Datrend quality standards and documentation. - Identify process discrepancies and report non-conformances. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Required: - Minimum 3 years previous experience in electronic and/or electro-mechanical production. - Knowledge of electronic components, soldering equipment and assembly tools. Skills testing may be required. - Excellent English written and verbal skills, and the ability to understand and follow assembly procedures and drawings. - Detail oriented, with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. - Understanding of quality and general safety principles. - Superior interpersonal and teamwork skills. | |
