| Sales Representative Ever wondered how to get into the huge world of Canada’s resource exploration market? Interested in learning more about capital markets and how they work? Love talking with people and building strong, lasting relationships? Nicola Street Capital is looking for Investor Relations Representatives to join our growing team. What this is not: This is not about hyping stocks. What this is: This is very similar to a sales position where you will spend a lot of time on the phone and on email. This is a position where you will be talking with people about our clients and their activities. Investor Relations, the way we practice it, is simply building relationships on behalf of our clients, with their investors and potential investors. Making sure that the story is told correctly and so individual investors can make their own informed decisions. For details, see below. Investor Relationship Representative The objective of this role is to work closely with NSC team to build relationships on behalf of our clients with investors, brokers, fund managers and analysts. Outcome Success of the Investor Relations role will be determined by • Ability to develop your own network of retail investors and brokers from a large in-house database • Understand how a small consultancy keeps its clients happy • Collaborate with team on developing and maintaining core investor relations messages This full-time staff member is based in Vancouver and reporting to Investor Relations Manager. Other Duties Other duties as required to ensure that Nicola Street Capital continues to be a huge success! Qualifications You will be considered for the position if you have a good combination of: • Superior oral and written communications skills. • An outgoing and energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills. • Comfortable working on the phone and email intensively. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; capable of developing, editing and publishing investment and or communications materials such as news releases, investor presentations, fact sheets, reports and website communications . • Capacity to analyze and comprehend financial information. • We welcome new university and college graduates with degrees in communications, business, finance or related disciplines.
