| Financial Analyst Our client, a rapidly growing retailer with operations in Canada and the US is seeking a talented Financial Analyst. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting this role offers Variety and a Fun Environment! Responsibilities: - Treasury functions including debt management, working capital, compliance and reporting, banking relationships, cashflow, investment management, economic analysis and development of control processes. - Financial Reporting – in collaboration to ensure complete and accurate representation across all departments to internal and external stakeholders - Participation in short and long term budgets and forecasting - Business analysis - Collection of Tax Data for strategy and compliance - Analysis and development of the Accounts Payable Process - Participation in Finance Related Activities for Special Promotions Qualifications: - Accounting professional designation required - CA, CGA, CMA - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills. Energetic, self-confident, passionate with a positive outgoing personality - Self-starter comfortable working in a hands on team oriented environment - Strong relationship skills - Proven ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines and to motivate teams in this environment. - Ability to perform robust financial analysis and zoom in on key strategic issues. - SAP experience is desirable. - US Business legislative and reporting requirements an asset - Retail Accounting Experience is highly desired. - Public reporting requirements experience is an asset - Minimum of 5 years of business experience This terrific opportunity offers an excellent salary in the range of 90K.
