| Finance Manager Our client is an international leader in specialized transportation services and is undergoing rapid growth and change. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director, the responsibilities include: - Lead a team of 7 accounting personnel overseeing the accounting, transaction processing and system support - Oversee the preparation of the segment management reports and actively participate in the monthly review of financial results - Assist with the Actual vs. Budget/Forecast variance analysis and commentary for the Canadian entities - Actively participate in the cash forecasting process and assist with resolving any operational issues - Prepare and/or review the monthly and weekly KPI's - Review GL reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and taking appropriate action to resolve issues - Participate in IT and SOX compliance projects, as required - Prepare complex analysis and/or reconciliations, as required - Develop, oversee and manage ad hoc projects, as required. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - A professional accounting designation - Minimum of 3 years experience leading a team in a full cycle accounting environment - Experience with Canadian GAAP issues in a global environment and a general knowledge of tax, financing and internal controls related to financial reporting are required - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Exceptional leadership abilities in a professional environment - Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload - Strong analytical and problem solving skills If you are interested in this position please send your resume and a note explaining your interest to Cliff Kanto.
