VP of Sales & Marketing

A VP of Sales and Marketing has the challenging task of identifying strategic business opportunities for an organization in order to generate revenue.

We are a fast paced company which has a new division in the functional beverage space and we are looking for a Manager to drive this division to success.
You will have the ability to recognize opportunities, along with the sales experience to successfully negotiate and close deals.

As a manager you will be responsible for implementing and organizing the business development strategy, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining key relationships and negotiating and closing business deals. This role is one of critical importance to the organization and will have a far reaching influence.

A willingness to grow within the organization is key and your excellent leadership skills and strong business acumen will compliment the progressive culture and help advance your career.

Responsibilities:

•Pursue sales leads and prospective clients, build client relationships, deliver presentations and proposals, create and drive marketing campaigns, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, and negotiating and closing business deals. This position may require extensive travel.
•Lead the sales, and affiliates team to meet its projected revenue target. Work with the controller to create and manage. You will ensure the effective deployment of resources, making appropriate decisions to ensure delivery of efficient and effective client experiences while maximizing business opportunities.

Skills:

•Have excellent communications skills with not only executives but small business owners with a specialty with other cultures, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills, and market research experience.
•Have the ability to establish credibility and be decisive. Possess well developed interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with diverse personalities. You will have a minimum of three years experience as a business development manager or as a Vice president of a small company.
•Effective and demonstrated problem solving skills sufficient to address client and operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
•Developed business planning skills in order to develop business plans and tactics to support the organizational strategies and objectives.
•Strong influencing skills sufficient to lead and shape thinking and decisions while responding to underlying concern.

Requirements:

•Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a proven track record to lead business units to sales, and operations success with very little supervision.
•Worked directly with the CEO. Have implemented a marketing campaign using gorilla marketing, and affiliate networks.
•Other qualifications may include knowledge of the beverage industry, experience with increasing Capital, and with the sale of a company's product or division.
•Have experience of working in the natural food or beverage industry.
