| Senior Corporate Accountant Senior Corporate Accountant – 14 month contract- Top Achievers Wanted!!! Do you thrive on delivering exceptional results? Our Vancouver client in the Oil and Gas Industry needs a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their professional office. The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for the preparation of financial reports for external reporting for both Canada and the US and well as internal reporting for senior executives. Responsibilities include: - Preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial results; - Liaise with key accounting staff in the regions to ensure the information provided is presented consistently, clearly and fairly represents the financial results; - Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly financial forecasts Coordinate annual budget process as well as preparing and analyzing the 3 year budget plans; - Prepares and analyzes global revenues and manufacturing costs; responsible for the identification and review of significant contracts and financial statements and Note Disclosures to ensure appropriate accounting and disclosures of derivatives in accordance with GAAP; - Works closely with Treasury, Investor Relations and Corporate Development departments to provide analysis and support; and various projects as required. This role offers an excellent salary of 80K plus benefits. The ideal person for this role will have 4 or more years of experience and be a CA, CMA or CGA with industry experience. In addition you have previous Public company exposure ideally with foreign subsidiaries, have excellent technical writing skills and are comfortable communicating across all levels of management. You are deadline driven and possess very strong analytical skills, have ERP experience, preferably PeopleSoft, are a highly organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
