Controller - Renewable Energy!

Renewable Energy! Be part of the solution as the Controller in this publicly-traded renewable energy company. Based in downtown Vancouver and reporting to the CFO, you will bring a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic, yet lead big picture projects.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting designation with 3 or more years of post designation relevant experience
- Very strong computer skills with Accpac being considered a definite asset
- A "hands on" approach to work, have a strong working knowledge of Canadian GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Have the ability to work in a demanding, fast paced and dynamic environment
- Public Company experience will definitely be considered a plus

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly non-consolidated and consolidated financial statements for management and external users
- Preparation of budgets and monthly analysis of actual results to budgeted results
- Full cycle accounting
- Spearhead IFRS conversion project in conjunction with CFO
- Key liaison with external auditors
- Preparation of annual CDN and US tax returns
- Various special projects as required

Salary up to $95K depending on experience.
