| Executive Assistant CANADIAN MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION, BC DIVISION EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (Temporary, full-time for the period Jan 2009 – Sept 2010) We currently have an opportunity for a temporary full-time Executive Assistant position. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for supporting her in the role of promoting the work of the Association, liaising with the Board, Committees, and Branches, managing Administrative Staff and the day-to-day business operations, and providing senior confidential administrative support to the Executive Director. The chosen candidate will have: • 7-10 years recent related experience • demonstrated ability to monitor budget • sound knowledge of human resources functions • a well-developed sense of confidentiality • the ability to work independently and in a team environment • demonstrated skills in multi-tasking and time management • exceptional communication skills • advanced proficiency in MS Office applications • knowledge and experience working with charitable associations in the health or mental health sectors in particular are an asset.
