| Junior Accountant - Great Learning Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Junior Accountant for its Surrey location. Reporting to the controller, the successful candidate should be able to run all daily accounting functions at a junior accountant level. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a great working environment that encourages learning. As Junior Accountant, your responsibilities would include: - Full cycle accounting, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance. - Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues as well as outside vendors. - Responding to accounting inquiries from colleagues and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner. - Assisting the controller and administration department with special projects, as needed. Qualifications required in this Junior Accountant role: - Currently enrolled in a recognized accounting program. - Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting position. - Proficient personal computer skills in MS Outlook, and Excel. - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - Database development/IT experience would be an asset.
