| Experienced Payroll/Accounting Clerk Our client, a successful property management company based out of the Fraser Valley, seeks an Accounting/Payroll Clerk for their Surrey office. This is a 10-month contract role with the potential of becoming a permanent role. This role includes the following responsibilities: - Handling all aspects of the daily A/R and A/P functions in support of a growing company. - Reviewing and processing payments for invoices, statements, expense reports, and/or other invoice requests, as appropriate. - Processing payroll for approximately 100 hourly-based and salary-based employees. - Additional responsibilities including assisting the controller with special projects and answering procedural inquiries from other departments. Requirements: - A minimum of three years general accounting experience. - Good knowledge of basic accounting systems, including working knowledge of MS Office applications, Quickbooks and Timberline. - Must have a strong command of Ceridian and payroll processing; CPA designation would be an asset. - Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, with attention to detail. - Diplomacy, tactfulness and a strong sense of discretion when handling confidential information.
