Store Manager Experience Cycling is a well-established full-service cycling sales and service retailer with over 94 years of “experience”, located in Duncan and Maple Ridge, BC. The Opportunity: Our business is growing and we are looking for two (2) experienced Store Managers to lead our teams in (1) Duncan and (1) Maple Ridge, BC. Reporting to the Owner, the Store Manager plays a key role in the continued success of the business through providing strong team leadership in support of the overall strategic goals and direction of Experience Cycling. Responsibilities: - Developing, implementing and maintaining store/company policies and procedures that align with the overall company values and strategic goals - Executing external sales and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and achieve store annual financial and strategic goals - Liaising with owner and store management at other Experience Cycling locations to coordinate deliver of consistent quality customer service and products at both locations - Leading by example through providing outstanding customer service to existing and potential customers; providing knowledgeable product information and recommendations to maximize performance - Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees, customers and suppliers with a focus on mutual trust and respect - Responding to customer inquiries and/or concerns in a timely and professional manner - Maintaining cash-flow and inventory management including daily sales transactions/deposits, purchasing, merchandising and inventory controls - Preparing and analyzing accurate and timely monthly reports, including (but not limited to) labour, sales and inventory, and taking action(s) to address challenges, as required - Fostering an engaging workplace culture of teamwork, development and support that enables employees to achieve their full potential - Providing clear, transparent communication to owner and employees at all levels. - Ensuring employees receive timely feedback, training and development - Participating in community events and/or industry association functions to build key relationships and represent Experience Cycling within the community - Maintaining a clean, safe and organized store at all times; ensuring employees follow the health and safety procedures are in accordance with legislation and company policies - Other duties as required Required Qualifications: - 2-3 years previous retail management or equivalent experience required, preferably within the cycling industry - Strong leadership skills; Able to support & motivate others to achieve their full potential - Demonstrated working knowledge of sales & marketing, employment legislation and inventory controls - Team player & builder; able to maximize the strengths of individuals and teams - Proven working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Demonstrated ability to lead-by-example in providing outstanding customer service - Proven problem-solver; ability to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written); - Excellent organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities effectively How to Apply: Please submit resume and cover letter (please indicate which location you are interested in) to: Dynamic HR Solutions Inc.
