Description:

Empower Technologies is a fast growing early stage company and leader in developing embedded Linux and Linux based solutions for System on Chip (SoC) and digital appliances.

Empower is seeking a PCB Layout Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for PCB layout design. It is a temporary position for 1 to 2 months but has an opportunity to turn into a permanent position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

1. PADs PCB – high speed DDR2 timing and impedance matching
2. Convert OrCAD netlist to PADs
3. EMI for passing FCC
4. Compact size
5. Knowledge of TI TMS320DM6446 and Lattice FPGA is an asset
