| Building Operator Alliance Recruitment Brokers is currently assisting their client a well recognized and respected company in Vancouver with their search for a Building Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day maintenance operations for their assigned building. Some of the responsibilities and duties will include the following: • Overseeing preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical plumbing, electrical, elevating devices, and lighting, roofing and life safety systems. • Day to day maintenance of HVAC, DDC and other building equipment and systems. • Monitoring performance of all contracts such as janitorial, landscaping, security etc. • Remaining current and up to date with new industry practices, legislative changes and new technologies. • General maintenance, daily inspections including grounds and landscape maintenance and housekeeping such as sweeping, litter pick up, shovelling and pressure washing. • Other duties as assigned. The successful incumbent will possess the following qualifications as required: • 4th Class Power Engineer or equivalent • Minimum 2 years work experience in a commercial high rise building operations • 5 years related experience in all areas of building operations, including HVAC systems, heat pump systems, and computer based preventative maintenance systems. • Valid BC Drivers License • Intermediate level MS Office If your qualifications meet these outlined requirements and you are interested in learning more about this excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career with a fantastic organization – please forward your cover letter and resume to Rehana Ali with Alliance Recruitment Brokers. | |
