| Branch Manager Alliance Recruitment Brokers is currently assisting their client with their search for a Branch Manager. The position will be accountable for the overall branch operations including customer and employee satisfaction, financial performance, inventory management, operational adherence to policy and growth in market share. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Strong leadership and communication skills with a Sales background. • High work ethic and commitment to maintaining standards and growing sales while addressing issues with a high degree of urgency. • Skilled and committed to develop their staff through coaching, internal and external training as well as cross functional skill development. Ensures a high degree of Customer Service is executed by everyone including the incumbent at all times. • Technical competencies in preparing budgets, reading financial reports and analyzing data. • A high commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for staff and customers and a competent knowledge base of occupational health and safety standards. • Highly motivated and hands on and prepared to be on the store floor monitoring and directing others. The successful candidate will be accountable in the following areas: • Communicates strategy and works with the branch management team and staff to develop the skills and abilities required both within the individual and as a team to achieve Branch performance objectives. • Manages merchandising standards, within division guidelines, for the branch and monitors to ensure compliance. • Develops annual budget to the General Manager. Providing proven rationale for recommendations based on history, market/economic conditions and trend analysis. • Review reports in conjunction with Assistant Branch Manager and supervisory team. Develop action plans to improve performance including but not limited to increasing sales, managing wage and other expenses, improving customer survey ratings, improving delivery efficiency and inventory turns, and revising local marketing strategies and sales initiatives. • Recruits, selects and develops a strong management team to assist in the day to day leadership of the Branch to provide for an effective succession plan • Leads management and manager meetings. Delegates tasks, initiatives and follows up to ensure completion of requests/duties and orders. • Ensures work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policy and legislation. Routinely inspects workplace and work habits with focus on improving safety standards and procedures.
