As a Crew Member you will be responsible for providing quality products and service in a clean and safe environment to each and every customer using your knowledge of positional skills, customer service and courtesy, health and safety regulations and all company food safety, safety and security and employee policies and procedures. The essential functions of the various crew member positions within the restaurant are listed below. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. While experience is an asset, your most important qualification will be your enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and customer first attitude. In addition you must have the capability to handle most of the following (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions): - Stand for long periods at a time without a break. - Handle a significant amount of bending and turning at the wrist. - Bend or stretch in order to reach across shelves, surfaces and spaces of up to 4 feet across - Reach into work areas of up to 4 feet deep - Work at stations of heights of up to 4 feet from the floor - Retrieve items from heights of up to 5 feet 6 inches - Lift and carry product in bags, buckets and other containers weighing from 5 up to 50 pounds - Retrieve items from the walk-in cooler and freezer. Depending on the specific role you are assigned to on your shift you must also be able to/or develop the ability to determine a customer's order from a video monitor at each service line, or in some cases from a speaker system (headset) and so be able to carry on a two-way conversation with the customer using a headset system. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: As a member of a team, it is necessary that you arrive at work on time for your scheduled shift; understand and demonstrate good "people skills" in dealing with customers; have a "teamwork" attitude and be able to contribute to the efficient operation of the shift; present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times (includes strict adherence to the dress code policy); and due to the fast pace within the restaurants and the need to meet requests from the public, be able to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm, pleasant attitude and efficient working pace.
