Temporary Part Time Residential Care Worker

Duties & Responsibilities

Support individuals to become self-sufficient in all areas of daily living
Positive role model and coach and instruct individuals
Support meaningful inclusion and active participation of individuals within their community
Facilitate the involvement of family members and friends
General administration, report writing, record keeping, and accountability of funds

Additional Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to teach skills and work effectively with others
Knowledge of theory, principles and practices in the field
Ability to function efficiently under pressure and manage multiple concurrent demands
Key worker experience

Requirements

Minimum Emergency First Aid
Minimum Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
Willing to undergo Tuberculosis Clearance & Criminal Record Check
