| Distribution Supervisor ( Newspapers & Fliers) We are looking for a Distribution supervisor for our Vancouver Office. As the Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for: • Training employees as required • Establishing delivery routes ,client and project paper work, report verifying, planning • Liaise with clients and take a role to activate new or existing measures to ensure client satisfaction with your team and within your project. • Negotiating transportation vendor contracts and managing the delivery • Use our proprietary real time system • Monitoring the Distribution Reports and adjusting the delivery amount, ensuring the delivery amount is at the optimum level. • Ensuring proper systems are in place to effectively distribute newspapers • Planning the most effective method, manner and means of project delivery • Actively tracking field figures, analyzing data and preparing recommendations Requirements: • Completion of secondary school is required. • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills • Fluency with excel, and MS office suite • Having a good knowledge of Business and Marketing is an asset but not a requirement • Has previous project management and planning, distribution or logistics experience of at least 2 years Note: This is full time and permanent position •Can effectively communicate with all types of people from different demographics Wage: $19.5 per hour 37.5 Hours a week Desired Start Date:02 November 2009 Benefits: Medical and Dental Benefits | |
