Dye & Durham, a well-respected and established organization in the Legal Services community, is searching for an individual to join our Document Services Team.

As an Enforcement Officer (EO) you will be responsible for personally serving outstanding intersection camera violation tickets to registered vehicle owners.

The duties of this position require the EO to spend the majority of their time driving to various locations throughout the Lower Mainland in order to carry out their duties. The EO will also play an active role in locating the vehicle owners in the event that they have moved from their address of record. The Enforcement Office is also responsible for documenting their work to maintain records of both successful services and service attempts.

The Enforcement Officer:
•Serves outstanding intersection camera violation tickets to registered owners, adhering to ICBC contractual obligations
•Maintains constant contact with the office; being available via telephone to ensure awareness of the continuous updates with tickets, such as paid returns, expired, new address, appointments and upcoming due dates.
•Returns served and un-served tickets to the office in a timely fashion.
•Maintains a valid and clean British Columbia driver's license.

•Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
•Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks within set time restraints
•Ability to be assertive, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism
•Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms
•Accuracy and ability to focus on detail
•Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment
•Process serving (or similar) experience would be considered an asset

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements in order to become a certified Enforcement Officer. Requirements include: Completion of grade 12, a clean BC driver’s license, in good standing with ICBC and no criminal convictions on record.

This is a salaried position (range $20,000 to $28,000 per annum) based on a 37.5 hour work week. Shift work is involved including some work in the evening. We offer a comprehensive benefits program including a company sponsored pension program.
