| Roxy Sales Representative Job Summary: The purpose of the Quiksilver Sales Representative role is to manage all aspects of the Roxy sales efforts to the independent account base in the specified regions. This position manages the sales process from initial planning & booking of sales presentations, to securing of order, to delivery at retail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of sales and service for Roxy clothing and swimwear for Western Canada - Establish annual sales plan, including setting of targets by account, by season - Coordinating POP and fixtures allocations for retail locations in conjunction with marketing - Managing and coordinating road trips and trade shows during selling seasons (approx. 4 trips a year) - Managing and coordinating appointments in the showroom and on the road - Responsible for communicating sales information to management and design departments (with the US) - Managing day-to-day customer service maintenance - Responsible for forecasting product for Canadian sales - Coordinating distribution of product in territory - Distributing catalogues to your territories (mail outs) and distributing order confirmations - Be accountable for all sales related overhead to include travel and entertainment, sample, etc. What you need to be successful: - Excellent organization skills and problem solver who follows through on commitments - Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) - Comfortable with figures, correspondence, and technology (familiar with retail math) - Achiever who is results-focused, driven and has a positive attitude - Detail oriented and able to execute projects efficiently and to timely completion - Deal effectively with constantly changing priorities - Creative, listens to input, and applying new ideas and solutions - Communicates effectively through verbal and written transactions - Prioritizes and plans work activities effectively - Drivers license - 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience In addition: The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
