| Inventory & Cost Accountant - Enviro Manufacturing Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the Inventory/Cost Accountant will be responsible for the financial integrity of sales and cost of goods. This includes month-end and year-end close, revenue assurance, maintenance of the Bill of Materials, coordinating and participating in physical inventory counts and reconciliation, manufacturing variance analysis include price, usage, and labor variance, product costing, development and maintenance of management reports, process improvements, and ad hoc requests. Duties also include: - Perform month-end and year-end closing functions that pertain to sales, cost of goods sold and manufacturing variances. Prepare detailed cost, sales and inventory reconciliation and prepare month-end and year-end related journal entries. - Responsible for the entire product costing process to providing analysis on the bill of material, absorption costs and overhead rates. - Coordinate and participate in quarterly and year-end inventory count, including providing all necessary working papers (including NRV analysis) to auditors to meet audit deadlines. - Provide operation report and analysis to management on a timely fashion. - Continually reviews existing processes, procedures and reporting systems; follow by making recommendations and taking measures to implement corrective actions to improve on the quality and effectiveness of the project cost accounting environment and to minimizing the ongoing risks. - Assisting in the development and implementation of the new ERP system. - Provide assistance to the Sr. Financial Analyst in weekly and monthly management reports. - Other tasks and special assignments as they arise.
