| Securities Legal Assistant Vertical Bridge Corporate Consulting Inc. "Experts in Employee Attraction and Retention Strategies" What a wonderful opportunity to contribute your securities experience in a high performing team environment! In this intensely challenging role, you will be supporting a dynamic partner and associate at this large, well renowned downtown firm. If you have a corporate, commercial background with a focus on securities law, this is your chance to showcase your unique skills and particular expertise. Yes, you will be doing dicta-typing, calendar management, billing, reconciling trust accounts and all the usual legal support functions….but you will also be involved in major securities transactions, private placements, news releases, property acquisitions, IPOs, drafting correspondence, etc., etc. Don’t worry, you won’t be expected to do absolutely everything as you will also be working closely with an experienced paralegal. Of course, you will be highly organized and your Word skills will be at the advanced level. On top of that, if you have SEDAR system knowledge and filing experience, that would be a definite plus. More nice-to-have skills include previous exposure to Elite software and GroupWise. Think that you are up to the challenge? If so, email us right away.
