Reporting to the Program Manager, Revenue Operations, the Supervisor FareDealer provides day-to-day supervision of the FareDealer office, overseeing all processes related to the distribution of fare media products and receipt of related revenue. Further responsibilities include:

• Provides day-to-day supervision of the FareDealer office, coordinating distribution of all fare media products and receipt of related revenue.
• Supervises reporting staff, including all people practices such hiring, training and development, coaching, and performance planning and review.
• Monitors all aspects of FareDealer vendor contracts, ensuring that legal and contractual obligations are adhered to.
• Reviews and assesses vendor volumes, develops guidelines for retention, and oversees processes for security deposit and insurance certificate tracking.
• Oversees customer and vendor communication, ensuring high standards for consistency and professionalism. Addresses unresolved customer & vendor issues, escalated from reporting staff.
• Oversees vendor audits, reviewing and approving audit reports, and also participating in the more complex audits.
• Oversees FareDealer monthly account reconciliation and collection processes.
• Oversees fare media product inventory and related processes, reviewing and approving product orders including designs and quantities.

Qualifications:
Ideally, the successful applicant will have completed a post secondary business program or accounting designation, in conjunction with a minimum three years’ supervisory experience in a union environment. Specifically they will be required to have proven experience in monitoring performance, conducting performance reviews and administering disciplinary measures. Candidates need to possess excellent skills in customer service; contract administration and business processes related to order taking, inventory, reconciliation, and collection techniques. A high level of organization, attention to detail and decisiveness, and a solid knowledge of the principles, theories, concepts and practices of the accounting field are essential.
